You’ve finally found the time in your busy work schedule to be able to go to the beach! For sure, you want to be able to make the most out of it. While going glamping in a private beach would be awesome, it could prove complicated to organize such a trip with your group. Settling for the crowded public beach might be the only option. To be able to make your trip fun for everyone, you have to make sure that you know the types of people that you will encounter there. Here are a few of them:
These people keep to themselves and appreciate the beauty in the colours of a single seashell. Obsession takes over them as you see them collecting anything and everything they find in the sand. The stereotypical collector is seen in movies as the guy with a metal detector at the beach looking for a chest of gold.
The Mom(s) on Break
Moms work hard; sometimes too hard. Oftentimes, you can find them enjoying a swim, working on their tan, or eating and drinking by the shore; all of which can help them finally relax. Of course, these moms love their children a little too much, which explains why they are always accompanied by their hired babysitter.
While some are in the beach to relax, some are there to party, especially those enjoying their school vacation. Most likely, you will see these people bringing beers, sports activities, and a loud portable speaker. Hopefully, your favourite public beach has separate areas for those who want to party and those who simply want to relax.
The Flaunters and Shy Ones
That perfect tan is hard to get and you would often see people bearing it all to get it –even if it isn’t a nude beach. If not, then you’ll definitely see the smallest swimsuit; both sported by males and females. On the opposite side of the spectrum, you may also see people covering it all yet still enjoying the water. These people are the ones who enjoy swimming in (almost) complete clothing.
The Sporty Types
Be prepared to see a lot of Frisbees and footballs because sporty people just love to use the endless length of the shore to play.
If they aren’t throwing things, then they’re out there surfing or learning how to!
The Selfie Competitors
These are those people, who post endlessly on social media throughout the day about their trip to the beach. You could say that these people are like scout ants that show their followers where they can go to get to the best destination. When these people visit the beach, you can expect that one of their online friends will be in the same beach the next weekend.
The Inconsiderate Ones
You don’t want to be an inconsiderate one. These are the people who ruin everyone’s trip. They are the individuals, who will obliviously kick some sand into your face, invade your personal space, and make it hard for you to have a good time.
In light of the last type of beachgoer, you have to understand that everyone goes to the beach in search for a good time. However, the reality is that there will be some things that you do that would annoy other people and vice versa. But you don’t need to get into a fight; everyone can find their place at a beach. The key would be respecting other people.
Find a compromise with your fellow beachgoers so that everyone can have a good time!
